I am very pleased with Roy Electric as a whole. I had them go through all my outlets and switches, as well as lights and fixtures to make copper connections to what was mostly aluminum wiring throughout my house. They scheduled me quickly and got the work completed in a timely manner.
Hunter met with me first to go through the house and everything. He fixed an outlet on the spot and took the extra time to open and identify some outlets that that were already good, and this saved me some money. I have to give a big thank you and much praise to Spencer.
Spencer was my primary tech assigned to me. He is a huge asset to this company and I can't thank him enough for being so focused and truly putting in maximum effort on this job.
Spencer spent probably 8 or 9 hours in my attic, tracing wire from multiple junction boxes, replacing them all and making sure everything was traced properly. The way the boxes and wire were originally installed and ran were a total mess.
If you own a house that was built before 1970, It's very likely the way things were done back then and probably though the early 90s just weren't done to a very good and modern standard. I'd give these guys a call.

Have been trying to get a electrical repair done on my property for 4 months with moat big name companies putting the project off to the side and giving mutiple excuses as well. Roy electric, Hunter, Bobby and crew communicated thoroughly and left me with no questions needing to be asked.

Bobby and Daniel arrived on time. They were polite, friendly, professional and provided information. They added an electrical line for bidet in our master bath. The work was excellent and they specifically worked to complete project without wall holes needing to be plastered. They cleaned up behind themselves. Bobby and Spencer installed a whole house surge protector in my panel. They relocated existing breakers to place the protector at the top of the bus bar. They also relabeled the affected breakers. The whole procedure only took 20 minutes. I highly recommend these guys!
Other folks might have just popped in the protector at the bottom of the panel but they did the right thing. I will definitely use them in the future!

Your go to when it comes to electrical issues. Trust me. It started with a simple pull of a chain that was “connected” to a smoke alarm. The first round of troubleshooting came up empty. Second round, fresh eyes, found the issue (no offense to the first time folks), fixed that issue.
Third time, same thing happened, not the chain, but the switch. Unplugging a shop vac, because the A/C decided it was time to quit (never ends)…R.E. sends Bobby back. This time he is at a loss as to what made this happen again. He calls for back-up. The Boss comes in.
Did some deep trouble shooting…AHA…of course it’s not even close to where all thought it would be. It was behind that panel, you know, that panel we so proudly flip a switch to reset that “breaker” and voila we did it! We made a light turn back on.
Little do we know that there are a gazillion wires behind this panel of switches. Where if one line, this so called neutral line(?) isn’t connected or wired correctly it creates havoc. Two lines at this #21 breaker.
One line shorter than the other but a smaller piece was added to make it same length so it could be together then to have a crack in that smaller wire. This not good. Things happen over time.
Bobby, his Boss, the two other gentlemen who worked this huge issue which turns out it was rather a small one, they could very well be “heroes”. Because I certainly am grateful for their knowledge. Their patience when I’m asking “how or why” does this happen.
We flip a switch, light goes on … light goes out…when this doesn’t happen sheer terror! Long story short, these folks know their stuff. Recommend them for any job that has to do with red green white black copper neutral wires … thank you.

Bobby & Spencer did an absolutely outstanding job adding a 60amp breaker, running 60amp wiring up the garage wall, above the garage and down the other wall to install my EV charger. They did this in very hot weather so I was sure to put a fan in the garage and provide lots of cold beverages for them.
Bobby & Spencer were incredibly kind, courteous, friendly & professional. They also installed an additional receptacle in my laundry room. Roy Electric is a pleasure to work with and Bobby & Spencer are definite assets to the company.

Bobbie and the team from Roy did a great job. This was our first remodel so I had lots of questions the entire time. They walked me through what and when certain things need to happen, what code requirements are, and went above and beyond to make the place ready for our inspections.
They were very flexible when it came to tracing circuits and adjusting the plan to make our final vision come true. I learned a lot from the whole process and a large part of that was through discussions with Bobbie.
Pricing was transparent and fair at the start, and I will update once we square up if things did not go as initially planned.

The two guys showed up promptly and replaced the blown-out GFCI outlet in our kitchen. They also replaced a non-working GFCI outlet attached to our deck outside. They answered all my questions satisfactorily. They even replaced another GFCI output in our garage, which was still working but old (original in a 33+ year old house).
Upon request, they checked that all 3 bathroom outlets were on the same GFCI circuit, so they were protected. All this for the call-out price of approx. $210. Very satisfied!

I recently hired Roy's Electric for a second time in the last year and a half. Again, the two techs they sent were just great. Right on time, incredibly polite, very professional and very capable. I had several light fixtures to be removed and replacements to be installed.
The guys made sure the new fixtures were installed at the proper place and height before completing each fixture. The old fixtures were removed, and clean up after their work was thorough. On a more personal note, they were so kind to me and to my dog who is not a big fan of visitors.
They did their work well and timely while also engaging with the dog to make everyone more comfortable. Next time I need electrical work at my house, I won't look anywhere else. I highly recommend Roy's Electric for your electrical needs.
