Installed a new dedicated GFCI receptacle in the crawlspace for a dehumidifier.
We work in Wake Forest's newer neighborhoods like Hasentree and Shearon Farms, and in older homes near its historic downtown.

Most of Wake Forest is recent. Census figures put the median home at 2009, and about 73% were built since 2000. Hasentree is our most frequent stop, and most of our Wake Forest jobs since 2023 have been in its newer neighborhoods.
Newer Wake Forest homes have the space and the panels for upgrades, and that’s most of what we do here: ceiling fans with new control switches, recessed lighting, TV outlets, and bathroom remodels wired in two visits, rough-in before drywall and trim-out after. In one Wake Forest home we installed four fans and three control switches in a single visit.
About 8% of Wake Forest homes were built before 1980, including houses near the historic downtown. These homes need the same care as older homes anywhere in the Triangle: checking panel capacity before adding loads, and adding GFCI protection where code now calls for it.
GFCI outlets for tankless water heaters, bidets and crawlspace dehumidifiers, relocated outlets, and power run to sheds in conduit. See outlets and circuits.
Ceiling fans, recessed lights, stairway fixtures and motion floodlights. See lighting and ceiling fans.
Rough-in and trim-out for bathrooms and kitchens, scheduled around your other trades. See rewiring and remodel wiring.
Storms knock out power in northern Wake County most years. We’ve installed a 50-amp generator inlet with a panel interlock in Wake Forest so a portable generator can run the essentials safely. See generator hookups.
Electrical permits come from the Town of Wake Forest’s Inspections Department at Town Hall. Inspections requested by 3 p.m. are done the next business day.
Wake Forest is the one town we serve with three possible power companies. Wake Forest Power, the town’s own utility, serves about 9,000 homes and businesses. Other addresses are on Duke Energy or Wake Electric, a cooperative. Your bill shows which you have, and we coordinate with that utility for meter work and service upgrades.

Punctual (actually, they called to ask if they could come early and it worked out well for me too), thorough, efficient and friendly service. No upsells, just good service for a fair price.

Installed a new dedicated GFCI receptacle in the crawlspace for a dehumidifier.

Trim out for a rough-in we did a few weeks earlier. We put our switch & outlet over plates on, cut in and installed a new TV outlet. Cut in 2 new slim recessed 6” lights over a bathroom vanity.

Troubleshot CAT 6 wiring.

New rough in for master bathroom - we installed a new single pole switch and ran a new switch leg for future vanity lights, removed old lighting & wiring, also relocated wiring for a future TV. Installed a new 15A square D QO AGCI/GFCI breaker.

Moved a receptacle to a different location as customer did not like the previous location.

Troubleshoot lighting circuit
To enable reliable power access for the shed, we installed new electrical conduit and wiring. This involved securely running the conduit and providing necessary connections, ensuring safety and compliance with electrical standards.

After identifying a malfunctioning GFCI outlet, we promptly replaced it to ensure the safety and functionality of the electrical system. This service was essential for their space, providing reliable power where needed.
It depends on the street. Parts of town are on Wake Forest Power, the town's own utility, and others are on Duke Energy or Wake Electric. Your power bill will show which one you have.
Yes. We do the rough-in before drywall and come back for trim-out. In a recent Wake Forest master bath remodel we installed a new switch and ran a switch leg for future vanity lights, removed the old lighting and wiring, then returned to install slim recessed lights, a TV outlet and the finished devices.
Yes. We've traced and repaired CAT6 wiring in a Wake Forest home, and we relocate or add data cable while we're adding outlets for TVs and offices.
The Town of Wake Forest Inspections Department, at Town Hall, issues and inspects electrical permits inside town limits. Homes outside the limits go through Wake County. We handle the permit and the inspection visit.
Call or text our office, or send us the details and a photo and we'll follow up to schedule a visit.
